A Little Bit About Myself

Let me look after your best friend while you work or do something else when they can't be with you.

I love dogs to the point that I am entirely dedicated to their happiness.
They love you unconditionally, no matter how much they may have been through themselves
All the dogs I have ever had in my life have been rescued.
I learnt how to get the best from them and know what they need.
By this I mean respect.

When anyone takes a dog for a walk they have to have them under control.
Yes of course they'll have their moments.
They wouldn't be normal if they didn't.
Plus that wouldn't be any fun at all.

I have two dogs. Daphne the Dalmatian who is now fourteen+ years old.
I rescued her at eight weeks old. Because she has one blue eye the breeder couldn't breed from her.
Dalmations have a tendency to either be blind or deaf... or of course both!
She's a gentle old girl, likes to have her say but gets on with others.
unfortunatly Darling Daphne has just passed away on 26th October 2016 at the grand age of 15 years 4 months
She's missed greatly ❤️️

Then we have Master Rooney. He's a Parsons Russell Terrier with a hint of Staffy.
Need I say any more...
We rescued him from The Last Chance Hotel. They do an amazing job rescuing dogs of all shapes and sizes.
When he arrived he was a total escape artist. Should have been called Harry Houdini.
But now (having a very good builder that just kept coming back again and again) he can't get out of our very secure garden at all. Rooney loves to play, will just keep going all day given the chance. He is very friendly, just wants to say "Hello" to every dog and person..
Not always the quiet one of the group but very loving. Lots of the dogs that come to our Daycare only come because they want rough and tumble playing with the Rooney Roo Roo.

Since starting my little business I've met some amazing people.
I've joined CHC which is Canine Health Concern www.canine-health-concern.org.uk

A site every dog guardian should take a look at (I think)
It was founded 22years ago by Catherine O'Driscoll after several of her dogs died after their annual vaccination. Research has shown there is absolutely no need for annually vaccinating our dogs.
In Cornwall we have a Canine Health Concern (CHC) Local Group organised by Barbara Storey email address : storey95@btinternet.com (she is a mind full of information to any problems your VIP may get)

We have interesting speakers and meet up roughly once a month.
Barbara (and Vet Wendy)run a "Vacci Check" Clinics for members dogs. Thus proving that your dog needs no further vaccination!
If you'd like to join Canine Health Concern it's £16;00 pa and to have "Vacci Checks" (Titer Test) are the cheapest you'll find anywhere -£25:00 per dog.

I now Raw Feed my babies. They love it. The smell of the food is just something you get over as you know the good it's doing for them- and there is far less waste to scoop and that awful doggie smell is no more!! You are what you eat!!

As a member of Canine Health Concern I now am against vaccination. Unlike kennels I don't ask for Vaccinations Certificates not even for Kennel Cough.

Oh, and something else about me...I am also a National Trust Dog Ranger which I feel says a lot about the responsible person I am.
